It's Not All Black and White
Juried Challenge measuring 24" wide by 36" long (Portrait).
Use pure black and white (not gray) plus one color not to exceed 10%.
Print fabrics in black and white are acceptable.
Ten percent equals one piece measuring 8" x 10" plus one piece measuring 2" x 3".
You do NOT have to use all of the 10%.
Color may be ombre: pale yellow to dark yellow
Be sure to purchase enough colored fabric to include seam allowances.

Fiddling with Fabric.
Non-Juried Challenge that is 24" Square. This is a surface design challenge.
Techniques: Discharge with bleach, paint, ink, watercolor, fold, tear,
burn or melt, cut, fuse, piece, beads, embroider (hand or machine),
unusual embellishments: yard, beads,
crystals, eco-dying; ice dying; fabrics other than cotton,
what ever your imagination desires.
Avoid glitter, it gets all over everyone's quilts.
The style is your choice: traditional, contemporary, pictorial, abstract, graphic, modern, impressionism.
Avoid dangling objects to prevent damage to other quilts.

Artists Inspiring Artists
We have 10 members who have accepted the challenge.
A photo was provided to the first volunteer, who has up to 3 weeks to create a 12x12 art work.
No limits on materials, theme, or style.
Once completed, a photo of #1 art work will be sent to webmanager@quiltsonthewallcom, who passes it on to Artist #2
Let's see how Artist #2 is inspired by the Artist #1
Eventually the last volunteer's photo gets assembled with the other 9 photos
and the original inspiration piece in our On Line Art Gallery.
