Artists Inspiring Artists

We have 10 members who have accepted the challenge.

A photo was provided to the first volunteer, who has up to 3 weeks to create a 12x12 art work.

No limits on materials, theme, or style.

Once completed, a photo of #1 art work will be sent to webmanager@quiltsonthewallcom, who passes it on to Artist #2

Let's see how Artist #2 is inspired by the Artist #1

Eventually the last volunteer's photo gets assembled with the other 9 photos

and the original inspiration piece in our On Line Art Gallery.

If you want to join in, email me.

I will start a second challenge group and send Volunteer #1 an inspirational photo

Carol Churchill, Exhibit Committee

Every aspect of life presents the opportunity to take what one person considers

“trash” and turn it into “a treasure”.

Join us on March 14th,  bring a friend and your  "March Madness Ugly Fat Quarter Challenge".

12 x 12 inches, with a 4 inch sleeve.

Use the fabric you choose at the White Elephant game in November,

OR simply choose some fabric from your stash which has been sitting around for a decade....

we all have some of that fabric... and join the fun.

Members get to vote, and the winner will be crowned Fat Quarter Queen 2020.

The goal of the Exhibit Committee to get this Challenge to travel with "Fiddling with Fabric"

to demonstrate how artists manipulate every kind of fabric to create art pieces.

Meeting location: 2845 Mesa Verde Drive East, Costa Mesa CA 92626

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
